Pastor Glen spent 20 years in Business prior to Ministry – the most recent 15 years as an Entrepreneur in his own business. The Lord called Glen and Tammy to get equip for Ministry attending Dallas Theological Seminary.
Glen enrolled at Dallas Theological Seminary and earned a Masters in Theology in 2013 with an emphasis on preaching and the original languages. The Lord used these three years to prepare and equip Pastor Glen to move from Business to Ministry.
Glen and Tammy spent the last 5 years at Christ Chapel Bible Church in Fort Worth where Glen was further equipped as he ministered and cared for members of the flock.
In 2017, the Lord led Pastor Glen to a specific calling – to Pastor a church in a smaller and more intimate venue – ultimately, he was called as Pastor of Community Church of Possum Kingdom. It was with a blessing of unity when the Lord Called Glen and Tammy to CCPK!
Glen and Tammy have 3 adult children and one very special grandson named “Graham.” He is the son of their first-born – Garrett James who is married to his sweet wife – Maci.
Glen and Tammy’s daughter, Delaney, is a graduate of TCU and is relocating to Durham, NC to attend Duke University and work in the ER as a Nurse in Duke’s Teaching Hospital. Their youngest son, Matt, is completing his Bachelors of Business Administration at Oklahoma State University.
Also, important to note, is Glen’s Golden Retriever “Gracie” who is lovingly loyal to him! Tammy also has a canine companion named “Alfred” - - he is her guardian! Glen enjoys golf, bicycling, fishing, and about anything else outdoors. Tammy is proficient in knitting, crocheting, and all types of needlework. Both love to hang out together shopping in antique stores or dining out!
The greatest gift is their individual salvation and that of their children in the Lord Jesus Christ. This gift has been the guiding light for the James family throughout the years and in to Ministry!
